About the Author![]() First - About my car. Ah, the Lincoln Continental. Back in my younger years I remember seeing one of these fine cars on the show room floor of the Ford dealership back in my hometown. It was a black '77 Lincoln Continental Mark V. That day I told my buddies that someday I will own one of those cars. Now I am looking to own a early 60's era Lincoln... Now - about me.I am the classic "nerd". I even wore a pocket protector when I was in high school. I have always enjoyed working with computers, and I am currently a Network Engineeer with the Montana State Fund. My other web pages include the "Official Studebaker Referance Guide" and the "1979 Sacred Heart High School". As well as computers I also have a love of cars. I enjoy automobiles from the early years of horseless carriages to the new cars of today. I have owned several makes a models so far in my life. My first car was a '62 AMC Rambler. I bought it when I was 14 for $50 with money I saved from my paper route. My Dad blew the proverbial fuse when I told him about it, but he did the paperwork so I could bring it home. Gee, those were the days... pouring gas into the carb to start the car, and then lighting the engine on fire when it backfired. Other fine autos that I remember are: '59 Volkswagen; '56 Buick; '71 Torino 4-door Hardtop; '61 Ford Econoline Pickup; '42 Chevy Pickup; '77 Lincoln Continental Mark V. The other prize that I have just gotten is a '49 Studebaker 2R10 pickup. |
