The Champion Six was introduced in the spring as a new economical compact car. Custom and Deluxe models were available with Coupe, Club Sedan and Cruising Sedan body styles.

The State President Eight Club Sedan was styled by Raymond Loewy. All models had independent front suspension with transversal leaf spring.
